Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to determine the influence of the temperature on the surface potential decays after corona charging in a needle-to-plane arrangement for different ceramic materials. The materials under study are generally used as substrates in Power Electronics modules and their behaviours in the high temperature range are insufficiently known. A comparison is made between Al2O3, Si3N4 and AlN. A correlation is proposed between the surface potential change over time and their broadband dielectric response.
