Abstract :
The areas of intended revision to IEEE std. 519-1992 are summarized in this paper. Major areas of revision include 1) incorporating harmonic limits for buses with nominal voltage of less than I kV, 2) including limits for interharmonics, 3) adding recommendations with respect to time-varying harmonics, and 4) replacing the existing material relating to voltage notches and ringing.
