  • Abstract
    Based on morphogenesis model, driven by ΣTU (Accumulated Thermal Units), soil, variety and management databases and developed the process-based muskmelon dynamic growth simulation system using component-based software technology. The system was programmed in the .NET framework with the C# language and the database was built in Access 2003. The implemented system could be used for predicting growth progress and morphological architecture of muskmelon plant under various environments and management strategies. System functions include information management, dynamic growth simulation, chart and table output and system help. This system should be useful for perfect the morphogenesis process of greenhouse muskmelon and lay a foundation for development of visual agriculture.
