Abstract :
Stacked microstrip antenna has been reported to provide broader bandwidth by stagger tuning dual (or multiple) resonators. A theoretical study of normal and inverted diagonally fed square patch configurations is carried out to examine their impedance bandwidth characteristics. It is concluded in this paper that apart from providing the radome effect, the inverted patch is superior in performance
