Abstract :
The authors present the design of real-time intelligent controllers. These types of controllers use the input and output of a system and predict dynamic changes in system behavior. The intelligent controller algorithm is integrated as part of the system controller and minimizes the use of expert system programs that usually require additional software and hardware interfacing. This method of controller design is integrated in a robot control system and has shown a high degree of accuracy. The real-time dynamic change detection capability in the control strategy results in generation of corrective control signals to the system under control, improving system response time and accuracy
