Abstract :
Web services is a self-contained software component with a well-defined interface, it´s a popular way of implementing a Service-Oriented Architecture. However, some new issues and challenges in testing of them come out due to their characteristics of distribution, source code invisibility etc. How to evaluate the availability of web services and improve the service quality is a challenging problem. From the service consumers´ perspective, a usability testing model based on the degree of usability for web service is proposed, it can help to evaluate the degree of usability of the service quality by collecting original index datum. Experimental results show that this model provides valuable reference for the service consumers to choose better web service.
