Abstract :
Consumer communications employing spread spectrum techniques have been developed. The spread spectrum code hopping (CH) system, which has some analogy to frequency hopping systems, is described. The performance of the CH systems under single code interference, which will frequently arise in the future on consumer communications and seriously affects direct sequence systems, is evaluated by theoretical analysis and computer simulations. It is shown that CH systems perform better than conventional ones under single code interference
