Abstract :
A new method is proposed for generating a plane wave without reflection due to numerical dispersion. The dispersion due to the 1D grid of the plane injector is perfectly matched to that of the 3D FDTD grid. Hence, with total field method, the residual field outside the Huygens surface is shrinked down to less than -70 dB over a very wide frequency band.
