Abstract :
Spread spectrum techniques have been used for many years, primarily by the military. Practical applications in the civil community are have recently stirred a significant new interest in spread spectrum communications. Continuing advances in digital technology are making it feasible to implement key spread spectrum functions in small and affordable packages. Signal processing architectures, suitable for VLSI designs, to accomplish interference suppression and signal/channel-matched filtering have been developed. Prototype devices have been implemented and demonstrated
