Abstract :
Safety evaluation is a complex problem that is often faced by decision makers in the power supply enterprises. It has a significant impact on the safety of power industry. Safety evaluation in power supply enterprises is a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problem. The evaluation model is constructed according to China State Grid´s regulation. A hybrid of elimination et choice translating reality (ELECTRE) III and technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) has been specially developed to evaluate safety level of power supply enterprises. The experience of the application of the methodology in China power supply enterprises is presented.
