Abstract :
A mathematical model of the metal nanostructured diffraction gratings, based on application of the approximate boundary conditions for thin dielectric films, is developed. The adequacy of the developed model is confirmed by the comparison with the results obtained by rigorous methods. The opportunity of achieving a higher transmission coefficient across a wide range of wavelengths and angles of incidence is shown
