  • Abstract
    In view of the present situation of logistics industry, combined with embedded technology, a kind of embedded EOS terminal was designed and implemented, which was used in electronic ordering system, the key technologies involved in the development was studied and the reasonable solution was proposed. The EOS terminal was designed based on the module-design method. The microprocessor S3C44B0X, produced by SAMSUNG, was chosen as the core of the control and data processing module. In the memory module, the SDRAM chip W9864DH and FLASH memory chip TE28F320 were used, at the same time, the SD card was expanded for the use of the storage and update of the merchandise orders and information. In order to ensure the stability of system operation, the supervisory watchdog chip ADM706TAR was adopted. The exclusive key-control chip ZLG7290 and dot matrix LCM SMG240128A were applied to the Input/Output module. Meanwhile, the UART and MODEM communication interface were expanded, respectively for Cable PSTN and Wireless GPRS communication. On the basis of the hardware platform, the real-time embedded system muC/OS-II was ported and the hardware device driver were developed, including the keyboard, LCD, UART and MODEM devices. Finally, using the Windows-based news-driven programming method for reference, the application software was developed. The EOS terminal is of small size and high performance, which has been applied in a number of institutions and companies, and achieved a good result.
