  • Abstract
We have investigated the dissipation influence on the electromagnetic properties of the semiconductor superlattice in the magnetic field. The features and differences of the zone spectrum are researched for two types of the ratios of characteristic semiconductor frequency (omegaH< omegaP and omegaH > omegaP). We have shown that taking dissipation into account gives rise to the occurrence of the turning of the dispersion curves for the electromagnetic waves propagating in such structures. It is found that one of the band edges in the collective cyclotron waves region is degenerate for big collision frequency value, the zone "destruction" takes place. We also have obtained that when omegaH> omegaP the zones appear where the attenuation is very small. It is connected with the fact that in this case the energy value transferred in the dielectric layer is more than that in the semiconductor layer
