  • Abstract
    This paper proposes an improved genetic algorithm to simulate textile wrinkle according to different textile types. The textile initial configuration is predetermined for the further research. Its wrinkle attributes may be possibly defined by genes of the genetic algorithm, including those genes used to define textile shape, material attribute and its motion. With an iteration method, it yields the animation of influence on textile wrinkle by such genes. Among the period of iteration, different kinds of relationship between these genes may be arrived and the iteration times can be reduced by adopting an optimized fitness function. The experimental results show that this method can be used to simulate common textile wrinkles attributes depending on userspsila demands.
