Abstract :
3D method of reference problem has been used to obtain asymptotic expressions for eigen whispering gallery modes of a concave impedance surface in vector formulation. The influences of permittivity and permeability inhomogeneities on a resulted field are considered. The differences between two- and three-dimensional formulas are discussed
