Abstract
A graphical workstation was developed to support cardiac catheterization procedures. The design and implementation of the system are described. The workstation integrates the following functions: (1) signal acquisition; (2) signal display; (3) signal processing; and (4) signal and patient information storage, retrieval, and management. This integration is accomplished through a powerful, low cost, graphical workstation based on highly integrated hardware and software subsystems. The functions of the system can easily be extended as required by user and research needs. The authors discuss the current status of the system and future developments
