Abstract :
This article presents a new system which combined ultrasonic logging technology with embedded logging data acquisition. The system makes use of ultrasound to scan the rock at the back of the wall of the well laterally, and then determines the situation of the post-rock according to the returned parameter. The embedded ultrasonic logging data acquisition system can analyze and process the collected data and judge the situation of the rock according to the waveform diagram. The characteristic of this article is that it combined the ultrasonic logging technology with embedded system and applied the advanced PXA270 processor to develop one real-time data acquisition system.
