Abstract :
A technique that allows one to increase the efficiency of 3D rectangular waveguide discontinues calculation is presented. The algorithm is based on the decomposition of 3D problem into a set of subproblems that can be solved using only the scalar bases. This approach is able to speed up the calculation of the S-matrix of the structure under consideration in 2-10 times depending on the complexity of the original device
