Abstract :
Phenomenon of a depolarization for optical signals which were propagated in media with the statistically distributed parameters has been investigated theoretically and has been confirmed experimentally. Polarization characteristics were calculated by using a coherent matrix method. The dependence of polarization degree of wave on parameters of scattering medium has been calculated for the Fraunhofer diffraction zone
