Abstract :
Based on the Tricomi theory of confluent hypergeometric functions, certain classes of real numbers are introduced. Tables of their values are compiled, as well. An application of the numbers in the analysis of normal TE0n modes in the coaxial ferrite waveguide with azimuthal magnetization is presented
