Abstract
Dyadic Green´s Function (DGF) for a step discontinuity in a coaxial cable has been calculated. A coaxial cable in which the radius of the inner cylinder has the form of a step function is considered as the geometry under investigation. Similar to other problems dealing with discontinuous medium; the method of scattering superposition is used to calculate the DGF for the structure in terms of the appropriate vector wave functions in a coaxial cable
