Abstract
The goal of this effort was to develop a personal portable monitoring system consisting of three components: an Internet-ready base station, a wearable data logger, and a plug-and-play portable sensor unit. This basic configuration can be extended to include multiple data loggers, each of which communicates with a separate suite of physiological/environmental sensors.
