Abstract :
A semi-cylindrical dielectric resonator with capillary non-uniformity was studied. The characteristic equation was obtained to determine eigen frequencies of such resonator structure. The expressions for determination of electromagnetic field components for axial-homogeneous eigen oscillations of resonator are given. It is shown the non-uniformity results in shift of eigen frequency of semi-cylindrical dielectric resonator and additional energy losses of its eigen TMm s 0 mode
