Abstract
Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR) is very important in antenna testing, especially in THz fields, which generates a pseudo-plane in a short distance. In this paper, design of a tri-reflector CATR Cassegrain-Gregorian (CG) configuration operating from 300GHz to 500GHz with the method of Geometric Optics (GO) and dynamic ray-tracing is proposed. The design utilizes a spherical main reflector and two shaped sub-reflectors, and all characters are verified by using commercial software tool GRASP version 9.
