Abstract :
A method about the fractal characterization of nonstationary time series, which is based on measure by dividing the sequence into many segments and not sensitive to embedding dimension, is proposed in this letter. To analyze several experimental data we find that the new method can effectively measure the fractal scale coefficient and detect present of the object in land clutter.
