Abstract :
A fully vectorial effective index method and multiple-cladding method (FVEIM&MCM) is developed for modeling photonic crystal fibers. The large negative dispersion and nearly zero flattened dispersion in highly nonlinear photonic crystal fibers are analyzed numerically.
