Abstract
Prototypes of three-phase synchronous rectifiers using power MOSFETs including the necessary control circuitry have been developed and tested. Experimental results show a significant reduction of conduction losses at room temperature and large additional improvements if the MOSFETs are cooled with liquid nitrogen. The synchronous rectifier is proposed to be used as part of a power system for a next generation ground based radar (GBR) system
