Abstract :
The newly set or revised Space Policies of Space Nations and/or Unions, mention about international cooperation. This situation becomes more apparent when this indication is made by strong and experienced Space Nations. As an example, The revision of US Space Policy, clearly mentions the increasing US support on International Space Stations (ISS). Basically, two main reasons of the direction of these forces´ winds are economical enhancement and technological progress demands of the market. The arise of these two facts are directly fed by the global economic crisis, the complex nature of the space market, the existence of the distributed stakeholders and core technologies to support and develop space technologies. Despite the fact that there is a strong motivation on international cooperation in space market, Global Space Market seems not so well mature, interconnected, integrated and/or harmonized enough yet for this to make it happen, when compared with the other global markets. This lacking part seems to be an exigency for international cooperation settings in the space market. In this paper, a vision on the actual situation of today´s Space Market, identification of some supporting markets, comparison of the main and supporting markets, the pros and cons within these relations will be given first. Then, the issues to be improved for the international cooperation in the global space market will be offered with future research foresights.
