Abstract :
Chaos-control of an erbium-doped fiber dual-ring laser is studied. When optical attenuators and a phase modulator are used to modulate the loss and the phase shift of the laser, the chaotic laser can be suppressed in a stable state, a single-period, a dual-period and multi-periods, respectively.
