Abstract :
A novel CMOS image sensor architecture implementing a light adaptive system with a high dynamic range is presented. This new differential architecture of the column amplifier enables a good precision and a reduced column FPN. A 128times128 pixel array has been designed in 0.35mum, 3.3V standard technology. The pixel measures 15mumtimes15mum and the fill factor is about 16%. The dynamic range expected is up to 120dB with a frame rate up to 30 images per second
