  • Abstract
    The design and realization of Si3N4 strip-loaded waveguide electro-optic modulators in barium titanium (BaTiO3) are demonstrated. Low half-wave voltage length product of 2.3 V-cm and low loss of 0.5 dB/cm are achieved at 1.55 mum.
