Abstract
A mobile radio signal with time selective fading is analysed concerning possibilities for its transmission quality improvements. For that purpose trellis coding is combined with QAM in the transmitter signal processing unit. Using a previously developed analytical model, the effects of the processing method are evaluated through bit error rate calculations
