Abstract :
A new type of an ultra-wideband Double-sided printed antenna was proposed. The proposed antenna, having a total size of 30 × 22 mm, consisted of a square patch, a partial ground plane and a slot on the square patch. In order to achieve ultra-wideband and band-notched characteristic, we adjusted the relatively position of the slot and feed. The compact antenna size for design is only the length of 22 mm, width of 30mm and height of 1.6 mm. By HFSS simulation software, the impedance bandwidth, radiation patterns were simulated. The results showed that the work bandwidth were over 3.1 GHz to 13.1 GHz except 5 GHz to 5.9GHz. Thus the compact planar band-notched UWB antenna can be realized.
