Abstract :
Because of the geometrical character of the parabolic cylinder, the parabolic cylindrical reflector antenna can be used as the beam scanning antenna with high gain. The paper analyzes the character of the parabolic cylindrical reflector antenna firstly, then derives radiant field with the beam scanning character, and finally gives a design example and the measurement results of the parabolic cylindrical reflector antenna fed by a feed array in order to form the scanning beam.
