Abstract :
The development of a low-noise input modular amplifier for L-band is presented. The module consists of a two-circuit parametric amplifier and a quasi-optical pumping oscillator. At 60-65 GHz, an amplification factor of 17 dB has been obtained at the half power level and a bandwidth of 1.2 GHz. The noise temperature is no more than 550 K when the quasi-optical IMPATT-diode oscillator is used as a pumping source.
