Abstract :
Analysis of long distance analog CATV link utilizing NZDS fiber is presented. In externally modulated lightwave AM-CATV link the main limiting factor is transmitting medium i.e. optical fiber. High dispersion of standard fiber limits CATV link span to below 100 km. Presented results of simulations confirmed that utilizing NZDS fiber can improve the span to more than 150 km
