Abstract

A multiband patch antenna through the use of three slots in a rectangular patch antenna is presented. The size of the rectangular patch is 95mm×50mm, which have an L-form slot and two strip-form slots on it. The designed antenna operated in the bands 1.66/2.05/2.41/2.85/3.88/4.20/5.29 GHz, covering 2.4/5.2 GHz WLAN band, while the return loss S11<;-10dB. Thus, the antenna is suitable for multiband wireless communication applications.
