The generation of high-performance keys is critical to security in a secrecy system. In view of the deficiency of the key-generating method in existence, this paper puts forward a new method for generating keys that can integrate the randomness of the semiconductor source, the unpredictability of chaos and the good statistical characteristics of pseudorandom series. The results indicate that the performance of the keys is ideal
