Abstract :
The information about 3D moving geographic objects are changed with the location and time, including the real-time geographic information. More and more people concern the technology of that how to collect, model, store, query, analyze and process spatiotemporal information. This paper proposes a new visualization method based on the improved MOST model, collision detection and terrain matching. The 3D terrain is rendered with triangle subdivision bi-tree data structure, which is easy to realize the collision detection and terrain matching for 3D moving objects. The experimental results show that the proposed method is suitable to 3D moving geographic objects in large-scale complex virtual environments.
