Abstract :
A millimeter wave gain equalizer is designed using microstrip open SIR with a small voltage standing wave ratio. The equalizer is fixed on ceramic substrate with thin film resistance integrated. The theory of microstrip open SIR is analyzed. New match method is analyzed and used to get a small voltage standing wave ratio at the in/output port. The maximum attenuation is 12.5dB at 34GHz. The VSWR at I/O port both less than 1.4 from 30GHz to 40GHz.
