Abstract :
In this paper, a novel capacitive sensor array for CMOS-based Laboratory-on-chip applications is presented. This sensor array consists of charge based interface circuits to detect the minute capacitance changes. In addition to the operation and noise performance, we describe a simple calibration technique for the proposed capacitive interface circuit and demonstrate the simulation result of implemented chip in TSMS 0.18 micron CMOS technology.
