  • Abstract
    The synthesis of gyrotron resonator structures operating in H0i modes is presented on the basis of the T-function theory and the technique for exact multimode calculations of irregular waveguides. These structures provide optimal distribution for two types of fields: unimodal and multi-extreme (multistage resonator). Exact conformity between calculated and published experimental data has been established.
