Abstract
The frequency-dependent conductivity of Polyaniline (PAni)-Polyethylene (PE) composites were measured at different mass concentrations using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. The frequency-dependent behavior followed the Mott-Davis behavior, which showed variations of the fitting parameter S with different mass fractions of PAni. The parameter S revealed a major influence of the insulating part at lower mass fractions of PAni. It was observed that the conductivity increases exponentially with increasing PAni concentration over the THz frequency range studied.
