Abstract :
The paper presents the design, fabrication and test of a 118 GHz sub-harmonic mixer based on Schottky Diode. The co-simulation between HFSS and ADS was applied to the modeling of the mixer. After test, much analysis and adjusting was made on the mixer, and, consideration of the techniques, the design was modified. The final test result indicates that the single side band (SSB) conversion loss of the mixer is lower than 9.3 dB within 103 GHz to 132 GHz, and the best conversion loss is 3.6 dB.
