Abstract :
A novel tri-band power divider is presented in this paper. A coupled-line composite right/left-handed (CL-CRLH) unit is used to realize the necessary impedance transformation at three selected frequencies. The CL-CRLH unit is studied and the corresponding design equations are obtained to calculate the design parameters of the desired tri-band power divider. Finally, this design concept is demonstrated practically with a 1.0/2.4/5.8 GHz tri-band power divider.
