Abstract
We propose an interactive visualization technique for exploration of a document collection that allows the user to represent points of interest by selecting and dragging visualized objects. According to multiple points of interest, both documents and keywords are dynamically laid out on the 2D display. The user can select new points of interest with direct manipulation, having continuous visual feedback of the layout. Based on this technique, we have implemented a prototype of visual information exploration systems
