  • Abstract
    A method is proposed for the preliminary estimation of the wideband properties of traveling-wave radiators based on an inhomogeneous slot line. The method permits a preliminary estimation of the operating frequency band of the radiator using equivalent circuit schemes and without electrodynamic modeling. Theoretical and experimental results for a Vivaldi radiator in the 0.5-4 GHz frequency band are presented.
