Abstract
In this paper, a new technique has been proposed to improve the E-plane radiation pattern of the COCO (Coaxial Collinear) antenna, the technique is differing the length of each subsection of the antenna. HFSS is adopted to prove its validity, and the simulated results show that the proposed method can improve the maximum radiation direction from 83° to 88°.
