Abstract :
The Design guidelines are presented for circuit matching and power combination in a high-power amplifier. And then a practical L-band solid-state amplifier is designed and realized with high output power (up to 1200W continuous wave), high linearity, low gain variation and high stability to meet the increasing needs for applications in satellite communication and navigation, TT&C (Telemetry Tracking and Command), satellite television broadcasting, etc.
