  • Abstract
    The problem of multi-attribute group decision making with the attribute values are given in the forms of linguistic fuzzy numbers, is studied. First of all, a scale of the linguistic assessments is defined, and the corresponding representation of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are given, then a new TOWA operator is presented to aggregate the trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Furthermore, a new method is presented for the problems of fuzzy multi-attribute group decision maldng based on the TOWA operator and projection method. Finally, a decision making example is given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectivity of this new method.
